Houston Texans cheerleaders. Was eating at the Galleria in Houston and ran into them before a charity event. Damn! the camera phone….I suck at stealth picture taking. Maybe the Texans will send me an autographed studio portrait? You should have been there.

I really don’t have any comments on the iBelieve…if you didn’t think apocalypse was coming, this might make you a believer. OR my first thought, DAMN! why didn’t I think of this and cash in on that iPod gold?

Ann Coulter gone Wild..
October 24, 2005 at 10:03 pm | In general daily stuff | Leave a CommentConservative Author and Political Pundit Ann Coulter Says She’s ‘Not a Big Fan of the First Amendment’.
From Bradblog:
She criticized the media for being liberal and Democrats for whining about their rights under the First Amendment.
“They’re always accusing us of repressing their speech,” she said. “I say let’s do it. Let’s repress them.”
She later added, “Frankly, I’m not a big fan of the First Amendment.”
Her statements received applause, and many attendees said they enjoyed her speech, but some added that they think she’s somewhat extreme.
How the war was won…
October 24, 2005 at 9:57 pm | In general daily stuff | Leave a CommentAccording sexual deviant Bill O’Reilly, the link the greatest generation has between his own was spankings. And thus an America that was strong enough to win WWII.
“The Greatest Generation, almost down to the man, was spanked, ’cause that’s the way we did it in America.”

New F1 Champion.
October 19, 2005 at 9:37 pm | In general daily stuff | Leave a CommentCongrats to Fernando Alonso and Mild Seven Renault
for scoring the double F1 World Championship for 2005. Fernando is the first Spanish champion and youngest ever at 24. It was quite a great year and there were some great races between Fernando and Kimi Raikkonen
(McLaren Mercedes
). I’m part of the anyone but Michael Schumaker
fan club, so I enjoyed. The last few years had been quite a bore and I’m looking forward to ‘06.
Ah! To be rich and young….good times.

My new toothbrush.
October 16, 2005 at 10:25 pm | In general daily stuff | 3 CommentsOK. Usually, a new toothbrush wouldn’t be worthy to mention. But, I’ve been using the new Oral B Triumph toothbrush for about a month now and gotta say its pretty good. I previously had been using a manual toothbrush and know that I don’t spend nearly enough time brushing. Luckily, this has a nice little timer and shutters when its time to change quadrants. My teeth feel great after brushing. I’ve taken it on business trips for nearly two weeks without a charge and didn’t get close to using all the charge. The travel case is a nice little bonus. My biggest concern is life of the brushes. Hope I don’t have replace those things every 6 weeks or so.

Interesting visitor
October 16, 2005 at 9:44 pm | In general daily stuff | Leave a CommentNoticed this visitor in phpwebtrace tonight.
Looks like the visitor was from iraq.centcom.mil. The interesting thing is the client string, which is gsa-crawler. Looks like some bot that is scouring the internet. Luckily, there is probably nothing too interesting here to see. I’ve protected the email address that was left behind.
Interesting Bloggin’ news.
October 12, 2005 at 7:54 pm | In general daily stuff | Leave a CommentIn case you don’t read /., there was an interesting link to an opinion piece regarding the Federal Shield Law. In question is whether bloggers should be protected by the shield law intended to protect journalists and the definition of what a journalist is.
I’m a blogger(I guess) and I’m not a journalist. I can barely write an entry a week here and have missed the opportunity to pass along many useful tidbits over the past few months.
Rather than trying to rehash 1’st Amendment issues, I think its interesting to note that we probably have a lot of politicians that not only don’t understand the capabilities of bloggin’, but may have minimal computer experience entirely. How can we expect our politicians to legislate the internets when they barely understand technologies capabilities?
My only answer…support the EFF.
