Kirby Puckett

Kirby

There is little doubt that Kirby is the greatest Minnesota Twin to ever play the game. I was lucky enough to grow up watching him play and checked the box score every morning in the paper to see how Kirby did the previous day. He single handily saved Game 6 of the 1991 World Series. When the Twins won Game 7, I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy after watching any sporting event. I loved watching that little guy play with so much grace. I remember fondly when Kirby could have left Minnesota for more money during free agency and he decided to stay. Luckily he did. Without Kirby, I believe the Twins wouldn’t even be playing in Minnesota today.
Thanks Kirby!
